The African Development Bank (AfDB) is a regional multilateral development finance institution established to contribute to the economic development and social progress of African Regional Member Countries. As the premier development finance institution on the continent, the AfDB’s mission is to help reduce poverty, improve living conditions for Africans and mobilize resources for the continent’s economic and social development. The Bank provides services to both Governments and the private sector. The Bank’s African Natural Resources Centre (ANRC) assists African countries in maximizing benefits from their mineral resources through knowledge generation, advice, technical support and advocacy at events such as the Africa Mining Indaba. In addition, the Bank provides legal support services to Governments through the African Legal Support Facility.
